Between balancing showing up for work during the day, attending sports in the evenings, friend catch ups on the weekends, sporadic celebrational gatherings, your family and your household maintenance, it’s hard to find time for yourself!
Especially when it comes to managing your skin. Some procedures require us to take some downtime from our regular weekly activities. But, we know how impossible and stressful planning our obligations around downtime required from skin treatments can be.
But, what if there was a treatment that addressed your exact skin concerns without any downtime, allowing you to treat yourself to a lunchtime procedure and get you back into your routine without missing a beat?
Enerpeel® chemical peels promote skin regeneration and remodelling by boosting collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production without traumatising the skin on the surface, giving your skin the ability to doing its magic while you can continue on with your day.
What Makes Enerpeel® Chemical Peels Effective?
With traditional chemical peels, the complete power of the acid starts to take affect instantly when its applied to the skin. This means, most of it doesn’t reach the deeper layers of the skin where we ideally want the acid to impact the most.
Enerpeel’s clever, patented ingredient allows greater absorption deep into the skin before releasing its powerful ability to trigger the fibroblast cells in the skin to instigate the collagen and elastin protein fibre production. This allows the remodelling component of the peel to be effective as possible, maximising its impact to create new skin cells for a softer, youthful complexion.
In addition to the collagen and elastin production, it also stimulates an increase in the natural production of hyaluronic acid which helps to hydrate and plump up the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
So, not only is the chemical peel targeting the deeper cells within the skin and the superficial cells, it’s also reducing the redness and inflammation caused by traditional peels by up to 50 percent! Meaning, you won’t walk out of the clinic looking sunburnt red!
Enerpeel® Range
One of the most highly regarded features of an Enerpeel treatment, is that it also allows us to add non-peeling agents deep into the skin to help treat skin issues such as acne, acne scarring, stretch marks, melasma and hyperpigmentation.
We have a range of three Enerpeel treatments, but the one suited for your skin is determined by the degree of damage of your skin, as well as your clinician’s analysis when factoring in all the other elements (such as lifestyle, work environment, diet habits, etc.) addressed in your initial consultation. Generally, the more damaged your skin is, the deeper the peel required to improve it. It is usually recommended, to see best results, that a set of three treatments is utilised with them being spaced three to four weeks apart.
These three are called: Enerpeel MA – Mandelic, Enerpeel JR – Jessner, and Enerpeel TCA. Each targeting specific different skin concerns.
Enerpeel MA – Mandelic:
For a superficial light depth, the Enerpeel MA – Mandelic is best as it gently exfoliates the skin with minimal, or no, erythema (redness of the skin). This is ideal for those of your who suffer with redness, sensitive, or reactive skin. This Mandelic peel will hydrate and soothe while loosening debris and promoting cellular turn over.
Enerpeel JR – Jeesner:
For a superficial medium depth, the Enerpeel JR – Jessner as it contains Lactic Acid, Salicyclic Acid, and Resorcinol, to address superficial hyperpigmentation while simultaneously exfoliating the skin, improving skin tone and brightening your overall complexion. This peel will fade away the superficial hyperpigmentation generated from chrono- or photo-ageing, or sun spots.
Enerpeel TCA:
For moderate to medium penetration, the Enerpeel TCA contains TCA-LP, TCA, and TCA strong (Trichloroacetic Acid) to help address moderate hyperpigmentation, fine lines, small scars, and coarse wrinkles, while providing an exfoliation with medium depth. This peel is ideal for those who have moderate to severe hyperpigmentation and more pronounced visible signs of ageing.
What to keep in mind:
A course of 3-4 chemical peels is needed to be of maximum benefit. These are 1 every 3-4 weeks.
2 weeks skin preparation with active skin care is important to ensure that your skin benefits fully from the effects of the peel whilst allowing you to continue with your daily routine uninterupted with peeling and flaking skin.
Depending on the extent of your concern or the size of the area involved, it may be necessary to have more than one type and/or more than one course of peels.
All chemical peels are prescribed specifically for you.
