REJURAN

A Natural Rejuvenator

REJURAN® is an innovative product for dermal rejuvenation made of wild salmon polynucleotide (PN) DNA fragments. Unlike hyaluronic acid skin boosters, REJURAN® consists of bio-active DNA molecules that stimulate regeneration and repair damaged skin while reducing unwanted inflammation.

REJURAN® increases the proliferation of fibroblast cells, promoting long-term elastin and collagen growth in skin. It can be used across the face and addresses concerns, including skin texture, loss of elasticity, lack of hydration, uneven and dull skin tone, fine lines, oil production, pore size and acne scars.

Rejuran Healer, Rejuran i, and Rejuran S products all contain the same active ingredient (polynucleotide) but come in various viscosity.

    • Rejuran Healer is used for whole face rejuvenation to improve fine lines, skin texture, skin tone, and to reduce the effects of ageing and sun damage.
    • Rejuran i is a lower viscosity product that is used for more delicate skin such as the skin around the eyes to address crepiness, wrinkles and dark circles.
    • Rejuran S is a higher viscosity product used to improve the appearance of scars and acne marks.

Results typically become visible within a week of treatment, with full effects manifesting over a six-week period.

What is PN (Polynucleotide)?

REJURAN® polynucleotides (PN) are slow-degrading DNA fragments derived from wild salmon.

REJURAN® is a transparent, colourless and odourless solution, maintaining a specific viscosity which functions as a scaffold. It contains polynucleotides or ‘PN’ for short. The PN are sourced from wild salmon from the Pacific Ocean. This specific viscosity addresses wrinkles, fine lines and scars in a natural way.

REJURAN® PN is a more concentrated form of PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) or salmon DNA fragments.

DOT™ PN is a highly bio-compatible DNA fragment that has been purified and extracted from Korean Chum Salmon O.Keta, which has the closest DNA base composition to the human body.

How Does it Work?

Polynucleotides are purified, bio-active DNA fragments. You can think of these as building blocks that when added together make up strands of DNA. Injectable polynucleotides are very runny liquids in appearance so they look and feel like a watery serum. Therefore they are completely different to other traditional injectable products such as facial volumisers.

Rejuran is injected as multiple tiny dots just under the surface of the skin known as the ‘dermis’. So immediately after a treatment you will see multiple raised dots all over the skin. This ‘bumpy’ look to the skin lasts for approximately 48 hours – click here to see what Dr Jake’s patient looked like immediately after a forehead and eye treatment.

When injected, polynucleotides help stimulate your body’s own regenerative and repair mechanisms. Rejuran has been used in Asia since 2014 and over 10 million syringes have been used to date. A huge advantage of polynucleotides is that they do not cause vascular occlusions. This means the risk of blindness or stroke (that is associated with fillers) is essentially zero.

Korean doctors with nearly a decade of experience using Rejuran have noticed how it also seems help improve issues like sensitive skin and redness. It’s therefore also a very useful product when used in combination with laser treatments to improve healing and downtime from these treatments, but also to optimise the overall results. Those who suffer with rosacea or melasma can therefore also consider adding Rejuran into their overall skin treatment plan as it can improve the health of the skin barrier (in combination with other treatments).

REJURAN® are included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) and exported in over 20 countries.

3 Rejuran sessions are recommended, every 2-4 weeks.

If you have more obvious skin concerns such as peri-menopausal skin changes, sun damage, crepey/thin skin or sensitivity, a 4th treatment is strongly recommended.

After the initial protocol of 3 or 4 sessions, 1-2 sessions are recommended every year to maintain the effects.

Results can be seen as early as the first 2 weeks, however it takes 3-6 months for maximum collagen remodelling to occur.

A series of 3-4 sessions, spaced 2-4 weeks apart is recommended for the best results.
