We’re just going to come right out and say that the Carbon Laser Facial treatment is one of our favourite go-to procedures to brighten the skin while promoting skin rejuvenation!

What you will experience under the laser
After we cleanse your skin, we apply a Spectra liquid carbon lotion mask and allow it to dry for 20 minutes.
While that’s drying, let’s discuss about the power of carbon!
During these 20 minutes, your skin is absorbing the carbon deep into the pores, giving the carbon particles the opportunity to bind (like a magnet) to impurities and dead skin cells deep within the skin. (We could go into the science of the attraction between molecules and particles, but we’ll save you the boredom!)
Once we are satisfied with the carbon mask drying on your skin, we then do one run of Spectra mode laser to heat up the skin and activate the carbon to allow it to go deeper. It also helps to loosen any stubborn debris, trapped within the pores, to bind to the carbon.
Then the fun begins! We then change the mode to Q-Switched and run over your skin until all the carbon is vaporized! You’ll feel warmth from the laser, as it caresses your skin, and you’ll hear a popping sound as the laser interacts with the carbon, zapping it into oblivion, along with all the impurities and dead skin cells bound to it!
Your pores will open up, allowing them to be exfoliated, releasing any debris and excess sebum. It also kills any acne bacteria lingering around, helping to reduce the severity of breakouts.
And so, the rejuvenation has begun!
In the next phase, we switch into Spectra Laser Genesis mode and this is where the pores are stimulated to reduce in size and collagen production is triggered, resulting with your skin texture becoming smooth with fresh, glowing, new skin.
We finish the treatment with a moisturiser to hydrate the skin and calm inflammation caused by the treatment.
Because the treatment isn’t intrusive, there is no downtime, so you can go straight back to your normal daily routine!
